Passing Values from Subreports to Main reports...

Is there any way to pass the value of a field to a Main Report from a Sub Report???

A shared variable will do this, although it is worth reading the help for details about the limitations. [sig][/sig]

Have a looks at StoreNumberVar and FetchNumbervar in the Help text. This has alwasys worked for me

Both ways work. Shared variables are newer and simpler.

If you have an older version of CR you may not have shared variables, so you will need to use Store and Fetch. You may even have to download the DLL for these functions if your version is really old. [sig]<p>Ken Hamady-
