I have a series of name/value pairs I need to pass in a SIP transfer using Avaya Experience Portal from my IVR app. This data will go to the agent desktop for a screen pop. The data they need to pass totals about 75 characters. In UUI Shared mode, it looks like I have up to 96 characters to work with.

Customer is using EMC at the desktop. I don't know the max UUI size that desktop can receive, but the customer claims they can accept up to 128 as they are implementing/customizing the desktop.

[li]why in shared mode, do you not have the full 128 chars to work with?[/li]
[li]In service provider mode, will I have 128 chars?[/li]
[li]Does hex encoding the data change how much data I can pass?[/li]
[li]Anything else I should be aware of with this much UUI data in a screen pop?[/li]
[/ul]

thank you

You might want to look at RFC7433. Hex encoding does not change the number of characters you can send.
