I have 2 reports running on CE 9 Standard. One passes the user ID/Password to the report and one still prompts for a user ID/password. Why would one work and one not?

This is what is added onto the end of each:

They both use the same ODBC connection, both reports work fine with CR 9 designer. I'm totally perplexed!

you might consider this:
naming your prompts anything other than prompt0, prompt1 and so on will give you more headaches than 'clarification'. For one thing, it gives you the impression that you can put them in any order and they will work fine as long as the names match. CE does not reorder these.

If the prompt values are not in the right order, according to the order in the report, they won't work. Make sure the order in both reports matches.
