Passing Parameters to Oracle 9i Tables From Access

I am working on a Form in an Access database. The form is able to pass parameters directly to queries which access local tables (within the same database). However, this Access database is linked to some tables in Oracle 9i.

Within the queries under the Criteria section I used the following format Function name(). This pulls the correct value for the function from the form, passes it to the query, and creates a datasheet of results (view).

How do I accomplish this with tables that reside in an Oracle 9i database and are linked to Access?

I figured out why Function() was not working when being passed to an Oracle 9i table. I changed the criteria to:

Like Function() & "*"

And this worked great. The geniuses who populated the Oracle table probably put extra characters (spaces) after each entry.
