Passing parameters to child commands

Hello:

HELP!

I am using DataEnvironment to generate a report. I have created a usual parent-child combo. The thing is I have to filter my recordset by a certain field that exists only in the child command. And for some reason in the code I can only access the fields under the parent command. Is there a way to pass parameters to the child command?

Much help is needed. Thanks!
