Passing parameters into Crystal from VB Script

I have a VB script which prompts for the starting job date and ending job date. My Crystal report uses these dates as a filter. Currently, I use the Crystal parameters to prompt the user for the dates. However, on our new system, we must prompt with VB Script and then pass the parameters into Crystal.

I cannot find a specific piece of doc from Crystal to explain this process.

Any ideas? If you think there is a better way let me know. We are not willing to get into to Visual Basic product.
