Good Afternoon All

I have inserted a subreport into my main report and used three different fields to select the data shown in the subreport, I am having difficulty getting one of the selection criteria to be passed across.

It is a client number, where in the main report I select many- for example where three clients are to be shown on the report I use the select expert to pick them eg 1551,1552,1447 this is using field {PN_MEMBERS.MEMBER_NO}

When I insert the subreport I choose {PN_MEMBERS.MEMBER_NO} as a linked field and choose "select data in subreport" based on this field.

However, it does not appear to be taking into account that I have picked more than one value in the main report and is instead returning data for only one of the client numbers entered.

I have tried to no avail to find a solution within the forums and any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Create the same parameter in SubReport and use that to select data in select expert.

When you link subreport to main report link the parameters rather than fields. You do this by select Param from main report. Then in lower left hand box drop down list and select corresponding SR param.
