Currently I have a primary table with a primary key, the key is an autonumber field. I have six other tables that are related to this table by this field. Is there a way to pass the primary key value to all other tables when a new record is entered. Currently, after a new entry I close the table then re-open it and find the record just entered then open the form to a related table and input the key value. When I have tried to input the value into the related table without closing first I receive an error message stating no record in related table, meaning my primary table that I did the initial entry on, which is why I close the table and re-open it.
