- I'm using Crystal Reports 8.5
- Report connects to three linked MS SQL Server tables using ODBC
- I'm calling the report from an ASP page

I am trying to generate a report from an ASP file. The report has a main report and a subreport. The ASP file is passing a "department number" parameter to the report. The main report shows those "accounts" which are longer than 4 digits within that "department number" . The subreport shows those "accounts" which are 4 digits in length within that "department number" . Therefore the parameter in the report ("DeptNumber") is the same for the report and the subreport. When I click (in the Crystal Reports Designer Environment) "Print Preview" and enter the same department number into the Parameter field for the main report and the subreport, the correct report is shown. However, when I run the report on IIS from the ASP page, the main report information is correctly shown but the subreport information is not shown. I am using shared variables. Why is the subreport not being passed the "DeptNumber" parameter information from the Main Report?

Thanks.
