I have a cross tab query that doesn't like the combo boxes that I have on a form passing criteria. How do you create a cross-tab query that will let you use a combo box for criteria? I am getting the msg box 'microsoft jet databse engine doesn't recognize 'form!formname![combobox] as a valid field name or expression.

You must first declare all parameters to a crosstab query. Open the query in design view and then click Query on the menu bar. Then click Parameters. Under the Parameter column, type in EXACTLY [forms]![formname]![combobox]
Then select the appropriate data type. Click OK. Save the query.
Substitute the formname and combobox name in the above.
