Passing DID to Castelle fax press

Trying to connect Castelle fax press to Avaya IPO 406 v2 3.2(65) I'm receiving 5 digits from the telco I then want to pass 4 of the digits from the DID to the fax press. Tried following the multitech faxfinder setup but it doesn't seem to be working can anyone point me in the right direction or a link to docs. thanks,
