Hi all,

I've got a report with 3 subreports, each subreport has ~12 rows and 5 columns:

CSQ Name ASA AHT Offered Handled
CS 12 456 5848 5754
BS 8 1420 6422 6400

etc..

Basically, I need all of that data in my main report so I can create a chart

I know you can use shared variable's to pass data from the sub to main report. But there are 48+ fields to pass.

I figure array's are the way to go, but I can't for the life of me get the code working..

Any help would be great.

Ic.

I think you should consider a fourth subreport that allows in all records necessary for the other three subs, so that you do not have to use shared variables or arrays.

...ok ...you lost me..

What would the 4th subreport consist of? How would having it be different to passing the variables to the main report?

I assumed you were using the subreports to limit the data in specific ways. If that is the case, then a fourth subreport that removes those limitations and allows you access to the data currently found in all three subreports, would allow you to chart without using shared variables and arrays.

Ahha... so this is the bit where you explain how a subreport can share information with another subreport without shared variables and arrays..

Or.. explain your answer better...

I was not suggesting that the subreports should share information, but instead, that you should draw the data directly in a fourth subreport (or in the main report).
