Passing Data from a HTML Page

I am wanting to pass data from a web page to a PDF form. Is this possible?

eg)

http://www.anysite.com/testfile.pdf?field1=Test&field2=okay

I am not sure if this is how it is done or not. Could someone give me a push in the right direction? Thanks!

The basic idea is to turn the HTTP posted data into an FDF. Do some research on FDF, and then come back with any specific questions.
