Passing code variable to report

My code attempts to assign a string variable that will print on the first line of a label report. The question is how do I pass the variable to the report w/o Access prompting me for a parameter. I have a text box bound to the variable name. Pu another way, I want to use code to assign the value that will passed to the report w/o Access asking for input. Thanks

Is this bit of data on a form?

Is the form open when the report prints?

If yes to both, set source of control to:

= Forms!MyForm!MyControl

using your own form name and control name of course
