Passing a value on to make it a defaultvalue.

I have a form that has a subform in datasheet format.

When I click on one of the fields in the MassCode column, I make a new form in datasheet format appear, that has a MassCode column as well.

I would like to make the MassCode from the subform become the default value for the newly opened form's column.
