passing a parameter to a crystal report 1

hi guys,

operating system: xp
database: sql server
crsytal reports 9
studio.net 2002

The windows form as a textfied and a button and of course the crsytal report viewer.

i want to pass a single discrete value ie, "employeeid" and have the application retreive the record from the table into a crystal report.
