Got thru after months of work. I am finally a CCNA, long live the cisco and get ur ccna before the new version coes out. As it is the standard is pretty high with a passing scrore of 849. Add to that the irritating sims and its quite a handful. The Sims are ur nemesis, if nothing can stiop u from getting 950+..the sims will. If it werent for one sim, which i passed up on fearing i wudnt get time for further questions and being out of time, i wud have made 910+ easy. Incidentally finsihe with 20 mins to spare, (the cisco guys are so nasty...no back no review ..the mcse guys have such an advantage.... In hindight shud not have feard shortage of time. But that moment i had to make a descion of a sure pass or a good score.Sure pass on first attempt was priority

Congrat vampirevicky ! it's a good score !
i hope i will have a good like you in september, can you tell guys like me what was in the sim ? rip ? igrp ? ISDN? frame relay? and what special difficulties are there with sim ?

thanks for the help and happy for you :D

congrat's... I understand about not being able to go back. I normally take notes as I go through the test. Sometimes the questions have hints to other answers if you can remember it.. hence the writing of notes on my one piece of paper :)

Nice one vampirevicky - it is a massive releif when you see in the smallest writing possible that you have passed.

Enjoy it and good luck with your studies

Are you serious?
You can't review earlier questions once you have left them?

"Evil.. Yet playful", as Catbert would've put it. :(

Thx all. BTW did not know disclosing exam info was an offence. I had written a lengthy post which I myself later marked as inappropriate and got it deleted after I had posted it. Our good friend Andy Leates brought it to my notice. Thanks Andy, I just wanted to help out, nuthing else. Just felt like helping those who were working their butt off..any ways giving the questions was a wrong thing...I apologize.

To Haneo:

I'd say for the sims get ur hands on a test router or pc router sim sofware. I used that for a few hours before the exam to get into the sim mood. Also slog the last 5 hours before the exam. Make it a slog marathon..remember all the commands...see in ur minds eye the small facts like which command give dlci local, which give dlci remote, which shows lmi status, what shows apart from all the other cdp info ...the ip address of neighbor..small stuff like that. Does sh interface show u lmi type info. Little nuggets of router output that can get u marks. And these can often be bypassed in ur revision on the big day

good luck
