Got the minimum 700 points to pass, but, I passed...On to the 70-290

One word of warning and advice, if you only scraped through on the 210 paper be well and truely prepared for 290. I got over 800 for my 270 paper and thought I was prepared for 290, I wasn't (actually I failed it 3 times but each time by one or two questions only). People get lulled into a false sense of security where the 290 paper comes in.

The 2003 MCSE is really hard work, gone are the days of passing the MCSE with ease, this is one certification you have to work hard on, especially now with the sims.

Well done for passing the 210 paper, if I were you tho I would probably have a look at 270 next (I know you don't need it but I think there is more in common with the 290 paper rather than the 210 and 290).

Congrates.

well done...

and yeah, heed simon's advice!!!

i went the 2000 track for mcsa before upgrading to 2003.
just completed my mcse 2003 yesterday, and the last 2 (293/297) gave me a good running!!!

depends on where your strong points are...
my path was this:

210 : 780
215 : 860
218 : 924
228 : 720
292 : dunno (it crashed, but i passed)
294 : 920
293 : 740 (ish)
297 : 792

got em all first time, though :)
