Wanted to take it next month but for some reason I couldnt reshedule due to the voucher I used to pay for the exam.

I just passed 764!!!

Used the Sybex Security+ Study Guide First Edition and some free practise exams. Also had the Mike Meyers Security+ Passport but didn't finish reading that as the Sybex seemed more in depth.

Now next up its either the Server+ or an MCP and start on the MCSA/MCSE route.

CompTIA has a guide out that outlines the differences between to old and new exams. Other than that, I would reccomend the Trevor Kaye Server+ Bible.

D'oh! That's what I get for posting in a morning fog at 6:20am.

It appears that CompTIA overhauled the Server+ exam about a year ago. Sybex doesn't seem to have a textbook for the new Server+ (SK0-002) according to their website, but Amazon lists one book and one video set for the new objectives.
