I still remember clicking on the last "NEXT" button and seeing my score instantly as 922 with the: "Congratulations. You passed!" line then instantly raised my two hands and shouted: "YEAH!"

Exam wasn't as good as I had hoped it would be but wasn't too bad either.

Dislikes:

-Switching simulation did not include on how to exit the switch so I can configure the switch beside it. I took 2 minutes trying to figure out how to get back out to the stupid picture and click on the switch I need to configure.

-Some questions that seemingly had more than one correct answer would only allow you to choose one!

-Had a nice 15" or smaller squint monitor.

Likes: Instant feedback on grade.

Going on to CCNP now.

welldone on passing

When I click the next button after my final question I closed my eyes for 5 mins then opened them and got the nice response!

Well done!

Is it out of 1000 I presume?

What is the passmark?

Is the simulator they use available for revision?

'When all else fails.......read the manual'

Pass mark it 849 but you get 300 just for starting so really the pass mark is 78%

Oh I see!

That's good!

I have my CCNA part 1 online Final this thursday!

'When all else fails.......read the manual'

The online exam you take at the end of each semester

Did you not do this?

for Semester 1,2,3 and 4 you do a practical exam and an online final exam.

'When all else fails.......read the manual'

Oh I see, you self taught?

qz01gs,

Cyberspace seems to be talking about the Cisco Network Academy system of learning CCNA (as well as CCNP,CCSP and other areas).

Can be a GREAT structured way of learning Cisco networking!

Great way to learn plus the support group of fellow classmates and your instructor and most schools should have real Cisco equipment in a lab for students to use.

Yep I enquired about doing it at a ntworl academy but my nearest was 30 miles away so I thought I might as well buy my own kit and do it by self-study and ultilize the various forums that are on the internet for advice.
