Hi,
I have been using Marcdmacs excellent login script for a while now and I have always wondered why a certain mapped drive never mapped on logon but didnt really worry too much. I now think its because its a non domain server and wondered if its possible to pass a username & password in vbs?

I have created the user account on the server so just ned to pass the credentials across if possible?

WSHNetwork.MapNetworkDrive "L:", "\\serverip\d$",True

Thankyou

Thank you for the link.

That now raises another issue though that I hadnt seen before. Each developer has thier own account on this non domain server but the domain login script maps drives according to AD organisational units. I would need to change the login script to map by user or create a developer account on the server and map all under one login, not really ideal as I need to audit what happens on their!

Regards
G
