I have been busy creating the Date From / To query for the Room Availability in Access, yet am having difficulties running pass through queries from Access Form fields i.e. [forms]![booking]![Date_From] into the ORACLE back end. Can ORACLE use this type of parameter?

Thanking you in advance

Helen

Helen,

The format is not something that ANSI-SQL at the ORACLE backend will work with. But apart from the format I doubt that a parameter query will work with ORACLE at all, since there is no cursor to hold a variable's value. The advantage of using parameterized QBE grid queries within Access is not available with Pass-through queries at a database type like ORACLE (or any other one using a flavor of ANSI 92 SQL) T. Blom
