I have a report published on Crystal Enterprise and calling the report with below URL but the parameter being passed is not working as the report displays the data for the default parameter set on the report?

I need help on how to get this working.

here is the URL

Hi,
A couple of things to check..

Is it defined as a String value?

Do you have the option checked in Enterprise that says 'Prompt user for value ' ( something like that, I am not at a CE system right now) - It is in the CMC under Report properties-parameters tab ?

Yes it defined as string and i did checked the option to prompt for values, but still not working

Hi,
Try removing the default value...

Also try using the new method of specifying the parameter/value pair:
Parametername='value'

It also looks like you have 'extra' characters in the URL,
try ( but it could be just how it shows in the posting)

One more idea: Place the parameter part before the init, I think the Init has to be the last part of the uRL, so try:

Code:
[URL unfurl="true"]http://testboeserver/businessobjects/Enterprise115/InfoView/Report/viewrpt.aspx?ID=1048764&apsuser=guest&apspassword=&apsauthtype=secEnterprise&Prompt0='4/17/2009'[/URL]
&init=actx:connect
