Hello,

I try to pass all Notifications/Alerts to an external script (which logs them to a file).

For the Notification.tsc: According to the documentation I set the If-Test to #t and replace the "REM" by the name of my desired command ("/path/to/lognotif.pl"). After successful validation I do the save and prmote_to_runtime.

I do this using egate 4.5.3 on UNIX (HP-UX).

If I understood the documentation, now my script should do something.
But it doesn't.
It is executable by the user that runs the controlbroker.
If invoked in a shell, it produces a output-logfile.

Can you please tell me where my big missunderstanding is?

Thanks,
Heimo

Just in case anyone else wants to pass notifications to the system:
the Notification.tsc-Version for script-usage works only on Windows.
But with the (system &quot;<script>&quot;) monk-command, you can execute your code and do notifications. This can be used inside the Notification.tsc.
