Pass Multiple selection prompt to a sub-report

Has anyone tried to pass the result of this multiple selection prompt to a
sub-report? When I set this up it finds data in the main report but no data is
returned to the sub-report. It doesn't even attempt to pass the main report
prompt to the sub-report. Setup below:

?Type-in Prompt?

Main Query Picklist Prompt
?Picklist Prompt?

Main Query Filter
Field in ?Type-in Prompt? or ?Type-in Prompt?=" or Field in ?Picklist Prompt?

Sub Report Query Filter
Field in Main Query.?Type-in Prompt? or Main.Query.?Type-in Prompt?=" or Field
in Main.Query.?Picklist Prompt?
