Is it possible to pass a formula into a subreport without using a Parameter within that subreport?

The reason I want to avoid the parameter of the subreport is becuase BOE XI, within the scheduling function, will display every parameter of every subreport.

We're using the Crystal XI designer.

Thanks!

You can't pass formulas to a subreport with or without a parameter.

Why not post requirements instead of hypothetical questions?

If you have a parameter in the main report, you can use it in any subreport.

When you're doing the linking of the subreport, link the main report parameter to the subreport database field. This was how I always did it anyway, rather than creating extra pointless parameters.

If it's a date, or requires some advanced sort of record selection handling, go into the subreports Report->Select Formula->Record and manually edit it accordingly afterwards. This all assumes that you mean you want the record selection altered, note that your post just says a formula.

It would be useful to know specifics though, such as the parameter type and the requirements of this *formula*.
