Pass data to a specified cells in Excel

Hi,
I have a temptable which is updated everytime a specified number of queries are run.
I have a field called "Days" which i want to pass to specified cell ranges in excel based upon the "Product", "Activity" and "Method".
The excel is a pre-formatted sheet which contains formula's and such..
I have tried different approaches (including DDE)It open ups the excel sheet but the sheet is blank and all the formatting is lost..
Can somebody help ...

Look up the "TrsnsferSpreadsheet" Method in help . Look at the [range] argument. Use a named range.
