pass a query paremeter to a report?

Hi,

I have a report that I need to be able to pass a parameter to for the primary dataset. (the where clause)

I was hopeing to be able to put it in the query string, but have not been able to get it to work. Any clues appreciated.

OK.. I must have been an idiot.. I could have sworn I had tired this before and had it fail..

Just incase anyone else is wondering..

the key is to specify the parmeter in the url as so:

http://localhost/ReportServer/Pages/ReportViewer.aspx?/

[blue]SiteReports[/blue]%2f[green]AnalysisReport[/green]&rs:Command=Render&[red]UserName=david[/red]

where the directory name is "Blue", the Report Name is "Green" and the Parameter and Value are "Red"
