Pass a Parameter value into a CRXI report - Crystal Server

Hi,

I am using CRXI Server. I need to be able to pass a parameters value into a report via a url string with out it prompting for the parameter before displaying the report.

I have configured CRXI server to allow URL reporting. For this I would use the following:

http://ali-dw/businessobjects/viewr...ssword=reportviewer&apsauthtype=secEnterprise

This report has one parameter and I need to pass in a value in the url string. for example

http://ali-dw/businessobjects/viewr...apsauthtype=secEnterprise&PARAMETERNAME=VALUE

I have not been able to do this or find the syntax for this. Please help.

Will this be a fixed parameter or will it change?

the parameter will change - I want to be able to create a URL string from an external app - the parameter will change depending on what the user selects in the external app and then launch the report.
