PartnerMail VS R5 - Fax Detection?

Just trying to remember if the R5 did Fax/CNG Detection. Thanks in advance

Fax detection will work if you have ACS R 3.0 or higher and the AA answering the calls the VS 5.0 it will work fine.

Hi UpstatePaul,
To clarify, do not specify a fax extension on the voicemail. Put the fax extension in hunt group 8 and identify the extension as a fax extension on the system. The R3 and up has fax CNG built in and the system will detect the fax tone and transfer the call during the attendant greeting. Make sure the line is on a card CO that has fax CNG active (ie not a 206E but 308EC's).
I am just about to set up a system in that way, let me know if it works.
