PartnerII R4.1 Processor Problem

I have a board in a 5 slot carrier. It can't see(light) the 2 boards on the right side. I tried a reset but still the same. A new board works fine. Anybody have any suggestions before I send it back for repair?

I'm assuming you are referring to mods to the right of the processor. If the mod in slot 3 is bad it would also cause a mod in slot 4 to appear bad. Remove the mod in slot 3 and replace with the mod in slot 4. If this mod now works then you have located the problem.

it fcan be real hard to sea the cards on the partner11 when this happens to me I power down and just push hard on all the cards push near the top becouse thats where they seat.

than power up and see what you get.

The processor card (R4.1) doesn't light the lights on the 206 cards in slots to the right of it! All other cards are good. This processor came from another system doing the same thing. I just wanted to make sure the Processor couldn't be reset(in programming with a special code) before sending it for repair. Thanks for the responses!
