Partner w/ T!

I am installing a Partner ACS with a T1 in a few weeks that will be shared by 2 companies and they will be porting over their main tel #'s as DID's. Is there a good way to get calls coming over these tel #'s to go to auto attd at night without doing any messy workarounds. I can get away with sending only 1 of these #'s to Auto Attd. I also need to have multiple phones for both companies ring during the day. I appreciate any input.

You can map a DID to go to an extension, hunt group, calling group. This can only be done with R6.0 Administration software, you can't program this with a phone.

I have the software loaded on my laptop and have used it before. I was trying to find out if I can cover a calling group to a mailbox or of there is some other way to provide Auto Attd at night only. I'm not sure this is possible because since you have to map the DID's to an extension and the calls come in as a transferred call I can't control night service with a button.

You don't have to map it to a station, you could map it to Hunt group 7, why are the porting it over as a DID and not a circuit/channel?

Hi Telprog- I was told by the T1 vendor that this is how the cust ordered it. They have 2 companies, each with a main published tel # that will be coming over the T1

Just map them to Hunt Group 7 and you should be fine.
