I have a Partner VS R3.0 that answers calls at a random number of rings (sometimes answers after 1 ring, other times after 8+ rings). Is this normal for these systems and/or is there a way to fix this.

Check your hunt delay mode programming #506, you can set them up to answer different lines with a different ring count.

You have an extension in Hunt Group 7 other than the voice mail ports. The hunt is circlar, so when it hits the wrong extension, it rings there for 4 rings, then moves on to the next extension.

First figure out what your voice mail port extension numbers are. If you don't know, post your inventory of modules and the order that they are in the carrier.

Put the programming overlay on extenion 10, Feature 00, Left Intercom Twice, #505-7, then start pressing "Next Item" and look at the display to find any extensions that are "1-assigned" that should not be there. Press 2 to unassign them.
