Partner VS R3.0 VM module 1

A client of mine could not access VM. LED had gone Red. Hard drive was making the typical grinding noise of a failed hard drive. I got it home put it on my test bench, fired it up and it works. Should I abondon it or put it back in service.

Sounds like the hard drive is about to fail. Given the age of the VS R3 I'd recommend installing a new drive or replacing the module with a later model.
