Partner VS 5.0 led flickers when processing, normal? 1

Hello again,

I notice the following activity when the Partner VS 5.0 module is being used or has current load: Is this normal? (I'm a little trigger shy as you can see)

1) Led Flicker (similar to a PC hard disk led)
2) Hard Disk access noise (somewhat obnoxious)

Note: The Led flicker is syncronized with the hard disk access.

Note: The system does respond, and work. This question is just to help me relax a little, and know what's normal.
