Just a FYI-
I installed a new R7 with a small PVM card & found if the system is power cycled the PVM looses it's selector code settings if any have been changes from the default. The greetings are not lost just the selector code settings- Spoke to Catalyst Tech Support & was told this has been an issue but I don't know how common it is. I will be replacing the card.

You must default the card then reprogram. It will haunt you until you do. Even though it is a new card, you should always perform a default before programming. And yes, this used to be a regular problem.

Thanks Mike- After reading your post I recalled seeing a post about this with specifics on how to init. the PVM card. Thanks again.
