Hello all, I was hoping I could get a quick answer to the following question. I have looked around but can't seem to find a clear answer.

I have a customer with rel 7.0 ACS and the large PC Card VM.

They want to dial into the A.A., choose a person's ext, after no one answers it goes to voicemail...and then have a 0 out option to EACH person's cell phone. (About 7 users only)

But if they person calls the A.A. and presses 0 it should go to Ext 10.

Possible? Thoughts?

That's pretty much how the Partner Voice Messaging works. There is no way to change it.

If it ain't broke, I haven't fixed it yet.

But can they EACH have different "Zero" options on their VM's?

no that is not possible with the PC card, you would need the Partner Messaging and each user can set up a personal operator for their extension and you could have that user then forwarded to the cell phone, it will use 2 lines and the volume will be low to the point that you better mention your cell number in your greeting to have people call it directly

Using a combo of Partner Messaging and Centrex service, you could do this with good results. As others have said, no way to do this with Partner Voice Messaging (PC card).

How does the zero option work on the PC card then? Can anyone give me a detailed run down?

Here is the answer in great detail:
It transfers the caller to extension 10.

Unfortunately, low cost PC card solution provides very basic operation...

Hahaha...perfect. Well that answers my question.

So if I want to transfer to a cell phone I need to just forward it to the cell phone. Thanks to everyone for the insightful responses.

Regarding the Partner Messaging R3l, I need to rest the card back to its defaults. I have the manual but can not find where the code is? Any suggestions where I can find it?

Thanks
