Partner VM R5: Workaround for Calling Group VM ?

I have a Partner ACS 4.0 with Partner Mail R5. I've not configured one before, but have things running relatively smoothly at this point.

Here's my situation:
I have a tech support group that handles calls during the day. The support lines are in a hunt group (one of several from the LEC) and are answered by an AA. When a user chooses a selector code from the AA menu, I would like to route to a calling group, but if no one answers I'd like a support voicemail box to handle the call - not the receptionist extention. Based on the documentation, I don't think it's possible 'out of the box'.

Here's the question:
Can I add a non-phone extention as the last extention in the calling group and have that extention imediately route to VM?

Thanks for any help!

If you have a spare extension port, and a spare line port, you could add the extension to the calling group. Patch it back into the line port. Have that line be call covered or line ownered by an extension that would be your guest mailbox for tech support overflow calls.

When calls come into the calling group, all the phones ring and so does that spare extension. It is ringing into a line port that only appears on itself, and is answered after the Call Cover rings setting, or the Auto VMS cover rings setting.

Is there anyway to accomplish the same without using a CO port?

Can a Hunt Group have a calling group in it, then define the last number in the hunt group to the station with the desired voice mail?
