Partner Unified Messaging

I have a problem when I try to install Partner Unified Messaging on a Windows XP Pro computer. It keeps giving me a message saying that:
"The Unified Messaging service has encountered a problem. The account information may be incorrect."

I have seen this before, but I don't recall what the solution was.

Any help would be appriciated.

Try uninstalling the admin software and the UM application.
If the UM service is running, stop it before uninstalling.
Delete the program files folder and then do a complete reboot.
After that, reinstall the software. That may take care of it.
