We had a power failure and now the incoming lines only ring 3 times, then go to Voice Mail. How do I change the number of rings, and why did it default back to 3 rings from 8 ? Maybe the batteries need to be changed?
I was able to change the number of "intercom" rings for station 10 using #117, but when a call from the "CO" outside arrives to station 10 it rings just 3 times then goes to VM. This is what I need to change 7 or 8 rings.
Any thoughts?

my #506 doesn't have M-LL-X as an option, maybe I have an older one. From reading the book it looks like I need to give "ownership"(#208) of the trunk to station 10. Then what ever ringing options that station 10 has, the ringing will apply to the CO trunk as well. Does this sound right?
The voice mail looks like it's on a card in the processor, the Partner is an ACS 3/8 type with one additional station card..
Twofeathers, I hope I made myself clear in the first post. The deal is that I can change ext 10 to ring 1 to 9 times before going to voice mail no problem. I need the first incoming trunk on this phone to ring 9 times before it goes to VM. It only rings 3 times now, then it's gone. The customer says it worked up until a power failure last week.
Another thing I discover late today. There is a night button on extension 10 that "she says" is always on. I shut it off and called the first line with a cell phone and it just kept ringing and never did go to VM.
