partner speakerphone voice quality on a magix

I have a client with a merlin magix using partner keysets (mls 12d). they have upgraded to partner acs keysets but when using there speakerphone the client says that the speaker cuts in and out(called party hears the cut out but not the person using the partner set). any help would be appreciated.

The speakerphone is half duplex. So it sounds like the mic is turning off on the partner phone. witch is odd usually I find the mic turns on & the speaker off. Well anyway if this is a big use then they should get a Polycom anyway.
