Partner SOE comes up to 8 extensions and Messaging R3S but as I understand it you only get four mailboxes.

Is the four mailboxes a hard limit or just a recommneded limition based on available minutes of storage?

Can the R3L be used in a Partner SOE?

Off the top, I can't think of any reasons why the 12 port card wouldn't work other than the fact that you are limited to 8 users with the SOE processor.

If it ain't broke, I haven't fixed it yet.

there are two different voicemails on the market (voice Messaging) one is hardcoded to maximum of 4 mailboxes the other one can have up to 12 or 16 (I think to remember 16 for some odd reason) but they are two different pieces of hardware and you can see that on the label of the PCMCIA card if it says small then it is 4 if it says large then it is the other one.

Joe is correct in that the large Partner Voice Messaging card offers up to 16 boxes.

The reason it is often quoted as supporting only 12 is that the total recording time (announcements & messages) will be extremely short if all 16 boxes are provisioned.

If it ain't broke, I haven't fixed it yet.
