Partner SMDR - will it print incomming Caller ID info?

Just installed a new partner, 4.0 with caller ID. Problem is they get lots of voice mail over nite from people and they want to know what numbers they called in on. Long story, parole office...anyway does the SMDR actually spit out ICLID info on a per call incomming basis? If so, simple serial printer on that port should give them what they need. If not, any other ideas?

It is only my opinion, based on my experience and education...I am always willing to learn, educate me!

We have SMDR hooked up to our ACS R4 and it does record the caller ID info. I have it connected to the serial port of an old Pentium running Hyperterminal. Brian Cox

Hi daronwilson,
Make sure to set SMDR to record incoming calls, long format, so you get all the info. Of course, the attendant must be delayed to the second ring.
