Hi everyone,
I need some help with a partner acs. My customer has a Partner ACS with a 2 slot carrier. Left slot is a 3x8 processor release 6 and right slot is a 3x8 expansion module. They have 5 lines and 7 stations. This office is just a smaller satellite office with there main office in north Jersey. I have setup there main office with remote call forwarding with the calls being sent to the small satellite office when activated and it works fine. Now I tried programming RCF at the small office and it did not work.
I went through the process the same way I did for the other office. Followed the process right out of the user manual. I put the button on ext. 10 on a button with lights. When I push the programmed button to activate the RCF it says "forward 10 99". Ten being the ext and 99 being the speed dial code.
Any help would be appreciated. I have to get back out there tomorrow 12/20 since they need to move over to the other office Monday.
Thanks in advance- ameritel2

Remote Call Forward #322 is set I assume? The only other time I have had it not work is if the system wasn't R6 or above. F59 will get a release number.

Think twice, speak once~~!!~~

Did the feature 59 and it is a release 6. I also set #322. I don't know why it's not forwarding calls. Is there any other things that could cause it not to forward the calls. I have to have it forward every call. Now I know lines 1-4 are set to ring immediately but line 5 is set to no ring, would that cause any problems? Could you give me the process to program RCF so I can compare it what I did.
Thanks for your help. Much appreciated.

Your bases are covered - for reference, #322 is not an option on releases prior to 6. You can't program a button for Feature 11-XX-(80-99) if you haven't programmed #322 for the extension.

For the extension to forward, it has to have lines assigned to it, with Auto Line Select set to pick up lines before intercom. If you're trying to forward incoming calls without answering them first, then the lines must be assigned to the extension with Immediate or Delayed ring, but not No ring. For this, you assign the extension as the Call Coverage Extension in #208.

You must also be sure the extension is not restricted, has line access, and outside conference is allowed. The easiest way to test that is to press Feature and the speed dial code, and see if the call is placed. Then press the Forward button, go to another extension, and Intercom the forwarded extension. You should see a line go off hook, and then be connected once it is finished dialing.

Also remember a thread where the user had forwarded the extension to STAR and the speed dial code, which the phone would take when programming the button, but caused the forward to fail.
