ACS release 5.0 intermittent not lighting MWL on various extensions. Have replace VM pcmcia card and reset and reprogrammed the processor. Not all MWL's on the same module. I am leaning to a problem with the processor. Any thoughts or ideas...or good solid guesses???

Much Obliged!!!

Since you have a PCMCIA card, and the PCMCIA card is only two ports, do you think that the voicemail is too busy to activate you lights. The other thing you can do is to assign DSS buttons for extension 78 and 79 on a phone and watch the traffic on those ports. you should also call 78 and 79 every now and again to make sure that 79 is not hosed up, it is the one responsible for lighting those lights. Good luck

A default of the voice mail card should be performed at the beginning of all installs. Extension 79 will not disconnect alot of times until the default is done.

Thanks gents!
I should have thought of DSS ing 78 and 79 to see how much traffic they have. I didn't know about the Defaulting of the voicemail cards...important safety tip!

thanks for the info and I will be dealing with it later today!!!
