When I try to update the system time and date on our Partner Plus 4.1 it doesn't update correctly. If I put in 020813 for the date it changes it to something like 050353. If I put in 0945 for the time it makes it 5:05AM. I have tried to figure out if there is some sort of pattern by trying different dates and times but cannot. The only time I got it to do something correct was by putting in 1111 for the date and it did make it 11/11.

Is the system just fried due to its age and/or version? Or is it tool old to support dates beyond 2010?

If my keypad was not working correctly wouldn't I have a hard time dialing phone numbers?

I would first try swapping phones to make sure it is not the keypad. If it is not, it is probably the processor. Those Partner II's are old....

Once the battery in the processor goes bad it will not keep the time you change it to. Replace the processor.

I assume the battery cannot be replaced since you didn't mention that as an option and from other posts I gather it is soldered on the board. I also assume the only way to repalce the processor is to get a refurbished one as a used one on eBay for example probably also has a dead battery due to this system's age. Are you aware of a source for a replacement processor with a good battery?

Ideally, I would look at upgrading your whole system. But, I realize that might not be possible. So, I would buy a Partner ACS R6. That processor has (2) AAA batteries that go in the front of the unit. When they need to be replaced it is easy. You could get an R7/R8, but those are much more expensive at this point in time.

Thanks to everyone for pointing me in the right direction!
