Partner phones on an 016 ETR card

I thought that the 016 ETR card was for analog extensions only. I have found this not to be the case since I was at a new customers site and they have Partner 18D phones working on 016 ETR cards. I haven't seen this before. Now they want to add three anolog devices. I want to use this card. What should I be concerned with programming wise to make this happen? Will the anolog devices still use the center pair coming out of the port?
On the Partner phones can I plug an anolog device into the back of the phone and use it off of that extension in this cituation? As always thanks for the advice folks!

The top 6 ports of the 016 ETR module can be programmed as regular T/R ports for single-line devices/phones. However, only the top 6 ports can be programmed this way. This is done through system programming, under extentions, ETR.
