I am trying to set up voicemail to e-Mail on a partner system.

ACR R7.0
Partner messaging V7.0

I set the IP and can communicate with the switch.
I loaded unified messaging and remote voicemail admin.

I set up the IP's and then messaging admin allowed me to set in a send server and the e-Mail addresses. I cannot see anything wrong, it just does nto send any e-Mail.

The PC is running windows 7. Has anyone done this with Windows 7?

Is there anyone out there that I can talk with / get some assistance.

Thank you

UM isn't compatible with Win7. You need WinXP Pro Svc Pack 3.
Please see the FAQs below for more information on this - from Avaya.

Thank you VERY much. I have been banging my head against this for some time. I really appreciate it.

After reading through the FAQ's, I do have one question. When setting up for a SMTP server it asks a domain name. It seems to imply that the domain name entered will be combined with the userid and used to send the mail.

In my case, The facility is using multiple autto attendants for multiple companies and the email addresses all have different domains. Can I leave the domain blank and put the whole e-Mail address in the mailbox?

Thank you again.

Thank you so much for the stars - everyone. They are greatly appreciated!!!

The domain name is the "Computer Name" name of the PC hosting the software. In WinXP:
1. Right click on My Computer
2. Properties
3. Computer Name tab
4. Copy the name in "computer description"
5. Paste in the Domain Name box in UM

Thank you all again.
