I have a 2 port Partner Messaging R1, green led on solid but both ports are busy, cannot access VM, any ideas or suggestions? (was working so all programing is correct)

Place autodial buttons on a set for the vmail extension ports and monitor if they are lit/busy. If they are, power cycle the switch. See if they unbusy. If they do, something is hanging the port(s) open on a disconnect. If not lit/busy, call 777 and monitor the autodial buttons watching for ring activity from your call. No activity: hunt group members wrong. Call the vmail extension numbers direct. If the extensions are busy and stay busy, there's likely a problem in the vmail itself. If the ports answer and state "system in demonstration mode" the port license PCMCIA card is shot or misinserted.

Try that and report back with results.

thanks for the fast reply, I guess I should have made myself clearer, both exts for the VM show as busy, the trouble is with the VM, replaced with spare VM system works fine, also replaced 2 port card with spare on defective VM , same trouble, I want to know if there is away to reset the ports on the VM via a PC? Would apprecriate any info before I send it out for repair.
