The site has a Partner Messaging R6, and they've set up their AA message on AA #1, Day menu. However, the generic "Welcome to Partner Messaging" message is playing when callers call in and the AA picks up instead of the recorded message. I've checked #206, #506, and #507, and all of those settings are correct. The Messaging scheduler is set to Switch Mode, and when you listen to the AA #1 Day message, it's the recorded message the site set up. What setting am I missing to have the recorded message answer instead of the generic one?

Record something in the Night Greeting for AA1, and see if that is played to the caller.

Also check AA 2, 3, and 4 for line assignments. #206/#506/#507 get the incoming call to the Messaging, but it's withing the Messaging to determine which AA answers the call when presented.

Thanks to both of you. Questions to both of your answers:

1 - If I remove the Switch Mode, I'd then have to change it to the Weekly Business Schedule, right? If so, can I just program it for all days to be 0000-2359?

2 - I'll record something in the Night greeting for AA1 and check. If it is playing the Night greeting, what's the next step?

3 - Should I be assigning all the lines to AA2, 3, and 4, or making sure that all of the Lines are assigned to AA1? I thought I checked line assignments for AA1 yesterday and remembered all 8 lines being assigned to Line 1, but I'll check again.

Any line NOT assigned to AA 2, 3, or 4 will automatically be answered by AA 1. You can't actually make line assignments to AA 1, just remove them from the other AA's.

The weekly business schedule vs. the switch mode can determine which greeting will answer when the call gets to the AA.
Switch mode, the Night Service button controls the number of rings AND the message to be played.
Weekly Business Schedule, the NS button controls the number of rings, but the schedule controls which message is played.
Never use the option of BOTH the switch mode and the weekly business schedule, it will change modes on you unexpectedly, was discovered in R1 and never corrected in R5 or R6.

Looks like changing from Switch Mode to the Weekly Business Schedule did the trick. There was nothing recorded on the Night greeting for AA1, and no lines were assigned to AA2, 3, and 4. At that point I decided to switch to the WBS before recording something on the Night greeting for AA1, and when I called back in the Day greeting for AA1 picked up like it was supposed to. Thanks for your help, guys - another problem solved!
